Article: WWE divas, are these bitches real? Women of Wrestling that is.
Okay as you all know the WWE has been going in a new direction as they say. For the past 2 years if I'm ot mistaken
they have released alot of women who are talented wrestlers or if they haven't been released they have just left for their
own personal reasons. Lets see Gail, Jazz, Nidia, Jacqueline, Ivory, Miss Jackie, Joy, Dawn Marie, Molly, and Sable if I forgot
some people then oops my bad. Anyway all of these women are gone. They were amazing women who had talent that surpassed some
of their male counterparts.
It is no secret that the WWE has hired the girls fromthe diva search well half of them
along with other models to replace these women. So the question arise all of these models are coming in getting jobs in a
"wrestling" company. Some of them have little experience and although they are improving some better than others can they
really call themselves an actual wrestler? Tell me my readers if a woman goes into a ring and has a match even if the match
is shit is she a wrestler? Ib the WWE I understand that it is a business and that they have to make money and are trying to
be considered as a whole with the entertainment industry. However looks for the women have become even more crucial than ever.
The women in wrestling in genneral have gone and been getting implants like and cosmetic surgery like it was as natural as
breathing for some of these women. Now what kind of message does that say about the women in the industry? More and more women
in the industry are trying to fit a mold that is set. Some say it is the WWE others can say that it is the womens choice.
I personally think that for those women who go along and try to fit into a certain category of trying to be the woman
with the perfect look that they are kind of stripping away what it is to be woman in their industry or a woman in general.
Yes their are some women who come in as beautiful bombshells but their are some who don't and they comform to being something
that isn't unique so that they may find success. I think if you are a woman and you have an A cup and if you are okay with
your humble breast then more power to you. when you blow them up to a D you may be sending the message that having an A cup
isn't alright even if you are okay. If you are a brunette you don't have to be blonde. Your differences are okay. If more
women who are in the industry would say that I'm not going to let my looks find me my success and my talent then maybe the
industry wouldn't be so looks oriented as it is today. Don't let the industry work you, you work the industry. I'm a fan of
taking my flaws and turning them into a positive. Not only do the industry need more natural women in the mainstram but why
not have a plus size diva or 2. The modeling industry for plus size models is growing maybe they need the same thing in the
wrestling industry preferrably the WWE. Every woman doesn't look like Trish Stratus or Stacy Kiebler. Nothing isn't wrong
with having some meat on your bones and have some curves or shape to you because big girls can do the damn thing as well.
I'm not saying get insanely huge women but bigger girls who are about maybe 180 who so who have a nice shpae but who are full
figured. Despite what some realms of the industry would like you to believe their are gorgeous plus size women who are conifdent
and who will serve it right next to Torrie Wilson or Stacy Kiebler.
Then we have the woman in the wrestling who doesn't
have a conventioanl type of beauty. I hate when people say someone is ugly I just think some people have a beauty that isn't
as obvious as some others. Why is it that the girls who aren't considered to be attractive for example Jazz always has to
be jealous of the woman who is percieved as being very beautiful? Why can't it be the pretty girl is just a stuck up bitch
who think all because she is pretty on the outside is better than the other girl who maybe not be. It's like if you don't
fit the mold as far as looks go you have to be that self conscious about yourself that you are always jealous. I don't think
that is a positive message sending to people. for once I would like to see a woman like Jazz who is confident about how she
looks and will be content with the fact that she is a woman in every since of her being.
So that still leaves the
question are the WWE divas real women of " wrestling"? They put so much on the looks being in Playboy their age and whatnot.
If wrestling isn't their first priority can they really call themselves that even if the do wrestle? I am a psychology student
who sings on the side does that make me a singer? Some would say it is or first priority who defines what we are. At the end
of the day I guess you decide.
Until next time,
